As an Indie recording artist, I have learned that you will not always get a Yes. I submit songs for different opportunities and often times I get “I love your music BUT…” or I don’t hear back from emails that I send at all. Looking back at my notes, I have submitted my new single to 42 radio stations, and out of those I have received 4 responses. I landed a radio play on WRFG Atlanta 89.3 FM during AJ’s Kitchen Bluessegment.
It all looks like a piece of cake for someone looking from the outside. It’s not and I have learned not to take it personally. We at least I hope that I have. I will keep
working towards being a successful Indie artist.
