1.Who are you and what do you do?
I am Hope McKee an Indie artist that loves to sing the blues.

2. What’s your background?
I am was born and raised in small town called Shelbyville, TN know for TN walking horses and pencils. My mother was a nurse and father was a factory worker.

3.What first got you into music?
I would visit one of our neighbors that would always have jazz music playing. Sometimes it would be instrumental and other times vocals. I discovered by listening to the artist sing that I could mimic them. When I grew up and left home for Nashville, TN where I found my first vocal coach.

4.Who inspired you to make music?
I guess that would be my mother. She knew that I had the talent to sing, so she encouraged me to find a vocal coach. I went through several before I found the right one for me. Don’t get me wrong; I learned something from each one of them.

5.If you were not a musician what would you have been?
If I weren’t a musician, I would go back and work in the field of law.

6.How would you describe your musical style?
My musical style blues is something that you can relate too and the music will have you up dancing.

7.If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?
I would love to open up for Howard Hewitt.

8.What is your favorite song to perform?
MY favorite song to perform would be my original song, “I Need A Man”.

9.Which famous musicians do you admire?
Howard Hewitt, Etta James, Lionel Richie and The Commodores
